History

Estampaciones Sabadell was founded in 1965 by Mr Jaume Bonet Presegué in a small workshop ( about 2.500 m2) in the town of Sabadell, an industrial centre in the area of Barcelona.

In 1977 it moved to the industrial units which these days are occupied by the first phase of the production unit of the Polinyà Plant, successive enlargements being carried out until arriving to a usable area of 29.300 m2.

In 1992 the ownership and management of the company passed by inheritance to Mr Jaume Bonet Balaguer. Coinciding with this change of responsibility, a new plant was acquired which today represents the state of the art in stamping and assembly in Europe. This is the headquarters of the holding Grupo Estampaciones Sabadell which was created later in 1996 and involving a growth to more than 61.000 m2. of production area.

Expansion into the European market was achieved with the inauguration of the new Plant located in the Czech Republic, with a first phase of construction of 13.000 m2.

Over these 40 years of activity one of the strongest groups as regards activities related with the world of stamping has been consolidated, ranging from development engineering to complete modules.

All of this has been possible thanks to the efforts and the dedication of the more than 1,000 people who today make up Grupo Estampaciones Sabadell.
